recently this year found a beautiful secluded lake with smells of elderberry, & sounds of all the various wild birds. The lake was so amazingly still & peaceful & as the sun was shining down on it. I looked at the edge of the lake & there where hundreds of dragonfly's dancing in the sunlit water. It was purely magical.. as Rowald Dahl would say " those who don't believe in magic will never find it"
Sometime later I was looking through my paintings & " Girl & Her moon" connected a cord with me, that this was indeed the lake I found, even though the painting came first. I believe the redhead girl to be a fairy & the dragonfly's represented that at the lake. The lake is surrounded by trees & I wonder if it is in a fairy circle..
